As a general dentist, Dr. Andrew Chen loves to see kids and has worked with them for many years. When seeking a pediatric dentist, it is important that they ensure their young patients are not only comfortable and looking forward to their visit – something Dr. Chen is very experienced with. We know the dental office can be a very strange and scary place, so we have made our office as welcoming and fun as we can. We want your child to feel at ease when they first step into our office. At Little Big Smiles we are not just another pediatric dental office – we want it to be a place where your kids will be happy when you tell them, “time to see the dentist.” With the bright colors and cheerful decor, our office is both fun for the kids and welcoming for the adults.

It is very common for us to hear “My daughter has no teeth, why do I need to bring her in to see you?” and there are also a lot of misconceptions regarding the proper dental home care in the general public. That is why the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s guideline recommends your child’s first dental visit come at the first eruption of your their baby teeth and no later than 1 year of age. This way we can not only exam for any problems, but also go over important steps you need to take in order to safeguard your child’s teeth from dental problems. Also during this visit we will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about pediatric dentistry, such as teething issues or teeth eruption sequences. We may not be the tooth fairy of legend, but we strive every day to make sure you child’s visit is as fun and magical as possible.
